The Education Trust

The Ed Trust helps state and local leaders build broad-based vehicles to mount and sustain K-16 reform. The Ed Trust focuses on the institutions most often left behind in plans to improve education — those serving concentrations of low-income, Latino, African American or Native American students.

National Parent Teacher Association

National PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities. PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.

National Center for Learning Disabilities

The mission of the National Center for Learning Disabilities is to increase opportunities for all individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their potential. NCLD accomplishes its mission by increasing public awareness and understanding of learning disabilities, conducting educational programs and services that promote research-based knowledge, and providing national leadership in shaping public policy.

National Center for Latinos with Disabilities

National Center for Latinos with Disabilities is the only not-for-profit statewide organization focusing solely on the empowerment of Latinos with disabilities and their families. NCLD works toward the equal participation of this population in all aspects of society in an independent, productive, and meaningful manner — through unique linguistically and culturally appropriate advocacy, training, information and referral programs.

Children's Defense Fund

The mission of the Children's Defense Fund is to Leave No Child Behind; and to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities. CDF provides a strong, effective voice for all the children of America who cannot vote, lobby, or speak for themselves, particularly poor and minority children and those with disabilities.

Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is the nation's leading non-profit organization serving individuals with ADHD and their families. CHADD has over 16,000 members in 200 local chapters throughout the country. Chapters offer support for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals, and others.
