Latin American Youth Center

The Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) is a multicultural community-based organization in the Washington, DC area that supports youth and their families in their determination to live, work, and study with dignity, hope, and joy. The LAYC Family of Organizations is a network of youth centers, schools and social enterprises with a shared commitment to helping youth become successful and happy young adults, with the skills they need to succeed educationally, professionally, and personally.

League of United Latin American Citizens

LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 700 LULAC councils nationwide.

Association of Mexican American Educators (AMAE)

AMAE's mission is to insure equal access to a quality education at all levels for the Mexican American/Latino students where cultural and linguistic diversity is recognized and respected. The organization advises state/local boards and legislators, administrators and faculty and works in partnership with the community and parents for the benefit of students.

Hispanic College Fund

The Hispanic College Fund works to provide Hispanic high school and college students with the vision, resources and mentorship needed to become community leaders and achieve successful careers in business, science, technology, engineering, and math. Their programs include scholarship competitions, a youth symposium, an online career network, and a leadership and professional internship and placement program.

Excelencia in Education

Excelencia in Education disseminates information on effective higher education practices for Latinos, assesses the impact of institutional policies on Latino achievement, and coordinates an action network for stakeholders.

National Center for Latinos with Disabilities

National Center for Latinos with Disabilities is the only not-for-profit statewide organization focusing solely on the empowerment of Latinos with disabilities and their families. NCLD works toward the equal participation of this population in all aspects of society in an independent, productive, and meaningful manner — through unique linguistically and culturally appropriate advocacy, training, information and referral programs.
