Sherri Maret

Sherri Maret presently lives in Pennsylvania. She was born in Texas and spent most of her school years there until her family moved to New Mexico. Her Choctaw family resided in McAlester, OK where she spent many summers visiting with her grandparents and great grandmothers.

She received a B.A. degree in English from the College of Santa Fe in NM and moved to Arizona to teach. She attended Arizona State University to get certified to become a library media specialist. After teaching English for three years in Mesa, AZ, she and her family moved to Pennsylvania.

She taught as a library media specialist in three different Pennsylvania school districts. She received a M.S. degree in Education from Wilkes University in PA . She resigned from teaching so she could focus on a writing career. She hopes teachers will enjoy the follow-up activities for her books which she provides on her website at www.sherrimaret.com.

She misses teaching students so school visits are fun and entertaining . . . . for her!
